2001 Jewish Community Study of Bergen County and North Hudson

Report estimates a total of 71,500 Jewish persons living in 28,400 Jewish households. Another 6,500 non-Jews live in these households for a total of 78,000 people in Jewish residential households.
The sampling universe included Jewish households located in most of Bergen County and a small area in northern Hudson County. For geographical analysis, the study area was divided into five areas: (1) Pascack-Northern Valley, (2) North Palisades, (3) Central Bergen, (4) West Bergen and (5) South Bergen/North Hudson [see slide 13].
Sample Size: 1,003 completed Jewish household telephone interviews
