Sample Size: 1665

Sample Notes: The data were gathered from 1,665 individuals in households with one or more Jewish individuals via a telephone interview survey. It is estimated in the published report that there are 120,900 people living in 45,200 Jewish households. The sampling universe included Jewish households located in Essex, Morris, Sussex, and Warren Counties, along with small portions of several adjacent New Jersey counties. The sampling procedure was a dual frame method comprised of stratified random digit dialing and a list of distinctive Jewish names.
Study Notes: The data are weighted to compensate for differential sampling by geographic areas.
