Sample: Adult Jewish Households in Sarasota and Manatee counties, FL

Sample Size: 616

Sample Notes: The data were gathered from 616 interviews with Jewish persons 18 years of age or older in Jewish households in Sarasota and Manatee counties, Florida. A Jewish household was defined as one that contained someone who was born, raised, or is currently Jewish. It is estimated that there are 8,800 Jewish households in Sarasota and Manatee counties, Florida. The sampling universe includes Sarasota and Manatee counties, Florida. Two sampling frames were used: random digit dialing (RDD), and a list of Distinctive Jewish Names (DJN) from the telephone book. In all, 189 cases came from the RDD frame, and 427 cases from the DJN frame.
