Study Notes: The purpose of the Squirrel Hill Study is to assess the feasibility of the proposed United Jewish Federation facilities development project in light of the changing characteristics of the Squirrel Hill community. The study consults quantitative and qualitative data to assess both the viability of Squirrel Hill as the center of the Greater Pittburgh Jewish community and the extent to which the proposed services are dependent upon Squirrel Hill's continued viability.
